AMBASSADOR
Laura Dreyer is the global ambassador for Ovasinax! Laura is an Adelaide-born Australian; while she currently resides in Adelaide, she previously lived for six years in the state of Queensland (where she plans to return to, in the future).
Laura works in Administration (for the Government), and she also pursues modeling on a regular but part-time basis. With regards to modeling - Laura has worked in the spheres of photographic/print modeling, promotional modeling, and runway modeling while also taking part in several competitions (at state level and national level).
Laura's many accomplishments include - winning the Miss SpeedWeek Downunder title in 2012, winning the Crowd Favorite title at the Miss Inkaholic South Australia pageant in 2015, winning the Under-30s Bikini Division championship at the Australasian Natural Bodybuilding (South Australia) Revolution event in 2016, and competing in the National Finals of the Miss Swimsuit USA pageant in 2014. In addition, she has reached the finals of numerous competitions, such as - the Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant, the Australian Swimsuit Model Of The Year contest, and the International Lingerie Model Of The Year contest. Proving her wide-ranging talents and adaptability, she also placed as the First Runner-up in not one but two recent high-profile events - the State Finals of the Miss V8 Supercars pageant in 2016, and the Grand Final of the Little Red Dress Model contest (at The Duke) in 2017.

Although Laura hasn't yet competed in a major Ovasinax event, she easily relates to the idea of clambering onto a partner's shoulders for the purpose of competition, especially as this idea takes her to happy memories of growing up with her younger sibling and neighbors in the family pool. In her opinion, the idea of combining athleticism and fun in a pool just seems to be logical, particularly in Australia where it's reasonably warm throughout the year in most of the states; she does believe that Ovasinax will be very appealing to the majority of people that she knows.
According to Laura - "Ovasinax is a unique take on turning common shoulder rides into something that's more physically challenging; it's a good fun method to get everyone involved in some games and exercise while, at the same time, adding a competitive element to spice things up. Ovasinax isn't a hard sport to get your head around since the rules and set-up are fairly simple. With regards to the required equipment - which seems to be the downfall of some games because if you haven't got the right stuff, you can't play - Ovasinax is easy to play using commonly available items or substitute items that you may have in, say, your own garage. I mean - a simple Ovasinax competition can be set up almost anywhere!"
Laura adds - "Being able to enjoy an Ovasinax competition with either a small or large number of co-participants makes this sport even more attractive, as you could have a quick fun play or go ahead and have a mini tournament. It's an adaptable sport that has been creatively thought up, and it takes into account the skill levels and physiques of different participants. Ovasinax is just a great all-round activity that could be enjoyed on many levels in multiple ways. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for possible Ovasinax host venues, so that this sport can be opened up to a huge number of people. Whether played as a fun game by a group of friends in a backyard pool or as a major international contest, Ovasinax is an entertaining fitness-based creation that almost everyone can enjoy."

Those of us who are directly involved with Ovasinax feel extremely honored and happy due to the fact that Laura has chosen to be the (official) global ambassador for Ovasinax. We admire Laura's passion for physical fitness, as well as her strong competitive spirit, her incredible modeling resume, her constructive ideas, and her desire to see Ovasinax become a popular sport across the world. Laura's love of worthy charitable causes is commendable, and her advocacy for animal rights adds to her charm, too. All of us are looking forward to the time when Adelaide's Laura Dreyer can host an Ovasinax-based TV Show, and also be a mentor for Ovasinax's future female players!
